The Ukrainian transport and logistics sector, despite the challenges of wartime and significant infrastructure damage, continues to show signs of resilient recovery and development. As of early October 2025, there are 260,400 companies and individual entrepreneurs (IEs) operating in the logistics sector in Ukraine.

Development Dynamics and Regional Leaders
The number of legal entities in the logistics sector in 2025 is increasing, although the pace has somewhat slowed compared to last year. As of the end of September, over 69,500 logistics companies were registered in Ukraine. Meanwhile, the number of IEs has remained almost stable over the three quarters of the current year, reaching approximately 190,000. However, in the third quarter of 2025, compared to the same period in 2024, there was a doubling in the number of new registrations — an additional 8,262 entrepreneurs.
The logistics business is widely represented throughout the country, but the largest concentrations are in Kyiv (35,000 companies and IEs), Dnipropetrovsk region (about 18,900), and Odesa region (18,300).
Key Players and Financial Results
According to the results of 2024, the fifteen leading companies in Ukraine’s logistics sector collectively generated a revenue of 233.6 billion hryvnias. The highest earner among them was “Ukrzaliznytsia” with 108.1 billion hryvnias, which is 20.5% more compared to 2021. The second highest revenue was achieved by “Nova Poshta” with a figure of 48.5 billion hryvnias, indicating a 100% growth. In third place is “Ukrposhta,” which earned 13.6 billion hryvnias over the year (+16.2%).
Despite the war and infrastructure destruction, the Ukrainian transport and logistics sector continues to adapt and develop.
