Ukrenergo: No power outages are planned for June 5

The Ukrainian energy system will operate without scheduled power outages on Friday, June 5. The National Energy Company “Ukrenergo” reported that measures to limit electricity consumption are not planned for that day.

Recommendations for consumers

“Ukrenergo” advises citizens and businesses to postpone the use of energy-intensive devices and processes during the daytime, specifically from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This will contribute to the stable operation of the energy system, especially considering the high voltage in the network following recent Russian attacks on energy infrastructure.

“Tomorrow, on Friday, no restriction measures are planned,” the statement said.

Current situation in the regions

Despite the absence of planned outages, as of the morning of June 4, there were still issues with electricity supply in six regions affected by shelling from Russia. The most difficult situation is observed in the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, where restoration work is ongoing to restore power supply for consumers.
