The ‘Mriya’ App for Students Will Introduce Its Own Currency ‘Mriyky’

The popular educational app for students, ‘Mriya’, will introduce its own digital currency called ‘mriyky’ starting October 1. Students will be able to earn these points by completing tasks and quests within the app, and then exchange them for movie tickets, participation in workshops, quests, and educational courses.

How the ‘Mriyky’ System Will Work

During the beta testing phase, which begins on October 1, the new system will be available to 10,000 to 15,000 children. According to analysts from the Ministry of Digital Transformation, by the start of the new school year, approximately 2,000 schools across Ukraine will join ‘Mriya’. By January 1, 2026, the project will encompass all public and private schools that join the platform.

‘Mriyky’ serve as a reward for academic achievements: they are awarded for improved grades, successful participation in school quizzes, and completing tasks generated using artificial intelligence technology. The tasks cover various subjects in the school curriculum and also encourage students to improve their performance.

Opportunities for Students and Partners

The earned ‘mriyky’ can be used to pay for goods and services from partner companies. Although the list of partners is not currently disclosed, it is known that students will be able to obtain the following with the virtual currency:

  • movie tickets;
  • access to workshops;
  • participation in quests;
  • educational courses.

‘In other words, the system generates tasks for you, you complete them, earn virtual currency – “mriyky”, and then you can exchange them for specific products or services in various networks, cinemas, or stores,’ said Fedorov.

According to Mykhailo Fedorov, the main goal of this innovation is not just to create an entertainment element, but to engage children in learning, stimulate their activity, and desire to discover new things. In addition to this service, the ‘Mriya’ app offers many other useful features for students.
