Who Can Benefit from the New Deferrals?
From now on, the right to a deferral is granted to:
- A father or mother who is raising a child under the age of 18 alone;
- Individuals who care for a parent with a disability.
To apply for a deferral, the user must submit the appropriate request in the Reserve+ app. The system then automatically verifies the grounds through state registries. If the data is confirmed, the deferral is granted, and the relevant information appears in the citizen’s electronic military document.
“The procedure for obtaining a deferral takes only a few hours and does not require the collection of paper documents or personal visits to territorial recruitment centers.”
Other Categories Already Eligible for Online Deferrals
Currently, individuals who can also apply for an online deferral in Reserve+ include:
- Persons with disabilities;
- Parents of three or more children born in marriage;
- Parents of children with disabilities;
- Spouses of defenders with a child;
- Husbands or wives of individuals with disabilities;
- Persons temporarily unfit for service;
- Students and graduate students;
- Employees of higher education and vocational institutions.
Thanks to the introduction of new features, the process of obtaining a deferral has become significantly easier and faster for various categories of citizens.
