In April 2025, the State Tax Service (STS) exceeded the plan for filling the State Budget by over 10 billion UAH. Over the first four months of this year, the overperformance amounted to 46.2 billion UAH, which is 13.1% more than planned by the Ministry of Finance, reported STS head Ruslan Kravchenko.

According to the information, in April, over 83 billion UAH was received into the general fund of the state budget, which is 14% more than planned and 37.2% higher than the results of April 2024. The main indicators for April include:
- Personal Income Tax (PIT): 29.7 billion UAH (+18.6% compared to plan);
- Value Added Tax (VAT): 27.4 billion UAH (+6%);
- Corporate Income Tax: 5.6 billion UAH (+77.5%);
- Excise on produced and imported goods: 15.7 billion UAH (+11.4%).
It is also noted that for the fourth consecutive month, there has been positive dynamics in VAT refunds. In April, 13 billion UAH was refunded, and for the period from January to April, the total amount is over 55 billion UAH, which is 24.2% more than the figures for 2024.
Main indicators for January-April 2025:
- Revenue: 398.2 billion UAH;
- Plan overperformance: +46.2 billion UAH;
- Overperformance compared to January-April 2024: +16.9%.
“We have accumulated a significant financial reserve. Thanks to systematic work, increased voluntary tax payments, and improved administration, we have additional resources for financing important expenditures,” noted the head of the STS.
