Cash Dollar Exchange Rate in Ukrainian Banks Decreases: Current Offers and Forecasts

On Tuesday, June 25, a significant decrease in the cash dollar exchange rate was recorded in Ukrainian banks. The average buying and selling rate of the American currency settled at 41.5/42.05 UAH, which means a decrease of 8 kopecks in buying and 10 kopecks in selling compared to the previous day. Despite this, the figures remain within the previously stated forecasts of experts.

Dollar Rates in Banks: Comparison of Offers

Large Ukrainian banks are currently offering to sell dollars at rates ranging from 41.83 to 42.2 UAH. In particular:

  • PrivatBank – 41.9 UAH
  • Raiffeisen Bank – 41.83 UAH
  • PUMB – 42.2 UAH
  • Sense Bank – 41.95 UAH
  • Universal Bank – 42 UAH
  • UkrSibbank – 42.05 UAH
  • TAScombank – 42.05 UAH
  • abank – 42.1 UAH
  • ProCredit Bank – 42.06 UAH

Regarding buying, banks have set rates in the range of 41-41.6 UAH per dollar. In particular, PrivatBank buys currency at 41.3 UAH, Raiffeisen Bank at 41.59 UAH, PUMB at 41.6 UAH, Sense Bank at 41.5 UAH, Universal Bank at 41 UAH, UkrSibbank at 41.45 UAH, TAScombank at 41.5 UAH, abank at 41.3 UAH, ProCredit Bank at 41.46 UAH.

It is worth noting that these values may differ from the actual rates at branches, as banks may also apply additional fees.

Forecasts for the Dollar Rate and Dynamics in Exchange Offices

“According to financial expert Oleksiy Kozyrev, by the end of the current working week (June 27), the dollar rate in banks will be within the range of 41.2 to 42.6 UAH. This corresponds to the current state of affairs.”

There has also been a decrease in rates at exchange offices. The average buying and selling rate of the dollar is 41.3/41.77 UAH, which is 6 kopecks lower in buying and 13 kopecks lower in selling than the day before. It is expected that by the end of the week, the price of cash dollars in exchange offices will remain in the range of 41.4-42.5 UAH. It is likely that the buying price of the dollar will also fall within the projected limits, as the selling price already corresponds to these benchmarks.
