The materials produced by Radio Free Europe journalists have won in two prestigious nominations at the national professional journalism competition ‘Honor of the Profession 2026’.

Victories in the ‘Best Interview’ and ‘Best Investigation’ Categories

In the ‘Best Interview’ category, the work of journalist Iryna Sysak, operator Pavlo Kholodov, and director Maryna Polishyna was recognized. Their piece ‘Conversations with Russians in Chat Roulette, War, History, and Russian Propaganda. Interview with Vitaliy Dribnitsia’ was deemed the best among the submitted interviews.

In the ‘Best Investigation’ category, the documentary film ‘Bucha Yablunska’ won, created by Dmytro Dzhulai in collaboration with the team – Yevhen Lubchak (graphics), Vladyslav Yatskiv (producer), Pavlo Kholodov, and Volodymyr Pautov (operators).

Competition Results and Editorial Achievements

In total, five works prepared by Radio Free Europe journalists reached the final stage of the ‘Honor of the Profession’ competition this year. In the main categories of the competition, 790 materials were submitted, from which the selection committee and jury identified the winners, highlighting the best journalistic achievements of 2026.
