In the village of Kobolchyn, in the Chernivtsi region, the construction of the concentrated juice production plant “Interjus Bukovina” is starting. This facility will be able to process up to 1,500 tons of fruit raw materials per day.
This is reported by Finway
The main products of the plant will include concentrated apple juice, as well as juices made from local berries, including raspberries, cherries, sweet cherries, and plums. It is planned that the raw materials for production will mostly be sourced from farms in the Chernivtsi region and neighboring areas, providing additional support for agricultural producers.
Project Within an Industrial Park
The project is being implemented within an industrial park covering nearly 12 hectares. As part of the construction, the establishment of storage facilities, purification and drying structures, administrative buildings, and access roads is also planned.
Environmental Solutions and Job Creation
In addition to its main products, the plant will produce biogas obtained during the processing of fruits. The biogas is intended to be used for heating local buildings, which will provide an ecological and energy-efficient solution for the community.
The production launch is scheduled for the end of this year. Currently, preparatory work is ongoing, and it is expected that the project will create around 150 jobs.
