PrivatBank Introduces the ‘Veteran’ Deposit with Increased Rate for Defenders of Ukraine

A specialized deposit product has appeared in Ukraine, aimed at providing financial support to veterans after their return to civilian life. PrivatBank has announced the launch of a deposit called ‘Veteran’, the terms of which take into account the needs of individuals who participated in combat operations.

Terms of the ‘Veteran’ Deposit from PrivatBank

The deposit program offers an attractive rate of 14% per annum in hryvnias. This is the highest rate among the bank’s current deposit products. The accrued interest is paid monthly, allowing depositors to receive regular additional income throughout the entire term of the deposit.

The deposit is issued for 12 months. The minimum deposit amount is 10 thousand hryvnias, while the maximum is 500 thousand hryvnias. Clients also have the opportunity to regularly top up their accounts, making the product even more flexible for savings.

Who Can Benefit from the Special Deposit

The offer is addressed to veterans who have a combatant certificate, a war participant certificate, or a disability certificate due to war. Both paper documents and electronic certificates are acceptable for confirming status.

A feature of the deposit is more lenient terms for early withdrawal of funds. In the case of early termination of the contract, interest is recalculated at a rate of 7% per annum, which is a more advantageous offer compared to the terms of most standard deposits, where clients may lose all accrued interest upon early closure.

“The bank explains that the new product was created not only as a classic deposit but also as an element of financial support for people returning to peaceful life after service.”

It should be noted that a revamped platform called ‘Veteran Career’ was recently presented in Kyiv, which is set to become a key tool for the professional adaptation of military personnel after their service. The project brings together representatives from the government, business, and the veteran community to create a modern system for supporting the employment of servicemen.
