In Ukraine, farmers continue to lower prices for potatoes due to weak demand in this category. According to analysts from the EastFruit project, wholesale prices for potatoes range from 15 to 25 hryvnias per kilogram (approximately $0.36-0.46 per kg), depending on the quality and volume of the batches.

Compared to the end of last week, prices have decreased by an average of 10%. It is noted that the supply of potatoes remains high, but demand for the product is not increasing. Many buyers express dissatisfaction with the quality of the goods, which often leads them to refrain from purchases.
Despite the price decrease, it is worth noting that they are currently 25% higher than during the same period last year. Farmers do not rule out the possibility of further price reductions, considering the significant amount of potatoes available in the market.
