Poriston Aerated Concrete Plant in Berezan Resumes Operations After Three-Year Break

The aerated concrete plant in the city of Berezan, Kyiv region, which previously operated under the brand “Aerok,” has resumed its activities after a three-year hiatus. The enterprise now functions under the trademark Poriston, and its new owner is BGV Group Management.

Resumption of Operations After Change of Ownership

The plant had been idle since the beginning of the full-scale invasion by Russia, when its assets, owned by Russian businessman Andriy Molchanov, were seized and transferred to the National Agency for Asset Management (ARMA). Subsequently, the asset was put up for privatization, and in December 2024, the company “Trident Geoinvest Ukraine,” part of BGV Group Management, won the auction. The enterprise was purchased for 1.89 billion hryvnias and underwent rebranding.

Production and Product Range

Since July 2025, Poriston has fully restored its production cycle and is currently operating at full capacity, remaining one of the largest enterprises in this sector in Ukraine. The new product range includes five categories that cover the key needs of the construction industry—from supporting structures to thermal insulation solutions.

“We are ready to produce 1.15 million cubic meters of aerated concrete annually. The updated range of five product categories meets all key construction needs—from supporting structures to insulation,” stated BGV.
