Moratorium on Tariff Increases
According to Svyrydenko, there is currently a legislative ban on changing tariffs for households. She emphasized that the government is looking for ways to ensure price stability for “blue fuel” by utilizing reserves from the state budget and the budget of NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine.”

Additional Funding for Gas Purchases
Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk confirmed that even after a significant increase in the volume and cost of gas imports, tariffs for Ukrainians will remain unchanged. She noted that an agreement has already been signed for a €500 million loan for the purchase of imported gas under the guarantees of the European Union. Negotiations are also ongoing for an additional loan from the European Investment Bank, which will ensure the stability of gas supply and avoid tariff revisions.
Hrynchuk stressed that the government will continue to seek financial reserves both in the state budget and in the budget of “Naftogaz” to keep tariffs balanced and affordable for the population.
