President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree appointing a new head of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission. The relevant document was published by the President’s Office on December 31, 2025.

Oleksiy Semenyuk Leads the NSSMC

According to the decree, Oleksiy Volodymyrovych Semenyuk has been appointed as the new head of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission. The appointment follows the dismissal of the previous head of the agency.

“To appoint Semenyuk Oleksiy Volodymyrovych as the Head of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission.”

Changes in the Regulator’s Leadership

The previous head of the commission, Ruslan Mahomedov, was dismissed from his position. Information regarding the reasons for the leadership change has not been disclosed. Mahomedov had led the National Securities Commission since February 2021.
