Ukrainian Construction Industry Increased by 15.5% in the First Nine Months of 2025

In the first nine months of 2025, the Ukrainian construction industry has shown steady growth: the volume of completed construction works reached 164.55 billion UAH, which is 15.5% more than in the same period of 2024.

Dynamics of Construction Sectors

According to data from the State Statistics Service, the highest growth was recorded in the non-residential construction segment — an increase of 34.2% year-on-year. The residential sector also demonstrated positive dynamics, increasing by 11%, while engineering structures grew by 7.5%.

In monetary terms, from January to September, the construction of buildings accounted for 74.86 billion UAH. Of this amount, 22.84 billion UAH was allocated for residential construction, while 52 billion UAH was designated for non-residential facilities. Engineering structures constituted the largest share — 89.69 billion UAH.

Structure of Construction Works and Comparative Statistics

In the structure of completed works, new construction accounts for 42.6%, repair works make up 31%, and reconstruction and technical re-equipment account for 26.4%.

For the period from January to October 2025, the construction production index reached 112.3% compared to the same period of the previous year.

“Earlier, according to the statistics agency, from January to August 2025, the volume of completed construction works increased by 19.5% year-on-year to 140.2 billion UAH, while the construction production index was 113.1% compared to the corresponding period in 2024.”

In 2024, the total volume of completed construction works in Ukraine grew by 15.5% — to 204.7 billion UAH.
