National Police Received Over 1200 Anonymous Bomb Threats

Anonymous Reports Are Sent to Government and Private Institutions

Incidents began to be recorded from 11:00 on Monday. Government authorities, local self-governments, educational institutions, businesses, organizations, banks, and several other establishments are under threat. Reports are continuously arriving at the email addresses of various structures, significantly complicating the work of emergency services.

Law Enforcement Is Checking Each Report and Searching for the Perpetrators

Explosive ordnance disposal units, dog handlers, and investigative operational groups are working on-site. All checks are conducted with the necessary safety measures in place. Currently, about 20% of all received reports have been processed, but none have confirmed the fact of a bomb threat.

“As of 14:50, 1216 reports have been received by police units. Explosive ordnance services, dog handlers, and investigative operational groups are working on-site. Inspections and checks are ongoing, adhering to all safety protocols,” the police stated.

The police are taking measures to identify individuals involved in disseminating false reports. The agency does not rule out that these mass mailings are part of Russia’s information-psychological operation. Law enforcement reminds that knowingly false reports about threats to public safety are subject to criminal liability.

It is worth noting that a similar wave of anonymous bomb threat reports was observed in January 2026, when mass fake reports were received regarding various objects across Ukraine.
