In July 2025, some Ukrainian pensioners will receive an increase in their pension payments based on specific categories. Despite the fact that there will be no general pension indexation this year, certain citizens will receive supplements.

Minimum pension: who and how much will be paid
The minimum pension in Ukraine is determined by work experience, age, and salary level. As of July 2025, the minimum pension for pensioners who continue to work is 2361 hryvnias. For those who are unemployed, this amount is 3038 hryvnias. Individuals who are 65 years old and have the required work experience (women – 30 years, men – 35 years) receive no less than 3758 hryvnias. People with a disability of the first group, regardless of their work experience, receive at least 3323 hryvnias.
Which pensioners will receive an increase in July 2025
There will be no general increase in pension payments in July; however, four categories of pensioners will receive supplements:
- Individuals who, at 65 years old, receive a pension of less than 40% of their salary. Their payments will be raised to this level.
- Pensioners who celebrate their 70th birthday in July 2025 will receive a supplement of 300 hryvnias.
- Individuals celebrating their 75th birthday will receive a supplement of 456 hryvnias.
- Pensioners who turn 80 years old will receive a supplement of 570 hryvnias.
It is important to note that these additional payments are automatically granted only to those whose pension is below 10,340 hryvnias. There is no need to contact the Pension Fund to receive the supplement.
Please note that the supplement is provided only to pension recipients whose pension is less than 10,340 hryvnias and is credited automatically without contacting the Pension Fund.
It is also reminded that to retire at 62 years old, one must have at least 32 years of insurance experience, at 63 – 22 years, and at 65 – 15 years. If the experience is insufficient, the pension is assigned at a minimum amount, which is determined individually, but does not exceed 3028 hryvnias.
