Ukraine and the United States of America have completed all necessary procedures for the launch of the American-Ukrainian Recovery Fund. This significant event was made possible by a diplomatic note received today from the USA. This was announced by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko.

According to Svyrydenko, the final stage in this process was the diplomatic note delivered by the Chargé d’Affaires of the USA in Ukraine, Julie S. Davis. The Minister noted:
“It can now be officially considered that the Fund has been launched. We have an equal partnership that respects Ukraine’s national interests and involves joint management and investment with America. The work of the Fund is focused on a future in which the USA and Ukraine jointly invest in the recovery and development of our state”
