According to the ministry, three phases of the program have already been completed, addressing needs in critical sectors such as energy, transportation, agriculture, healthcare, education, waste management, drainage, water supply, and humanitarian demining.

“We have implemented joint projects totaling approximately $700 million,” noted the Minister of Recovery, Oleksii Kuleba.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Japan has provided Ukraine with $12 billion in humanitarian and financial assistance. The new funds, amounting to $58 million, will be directed towards humanitarian demining, energy, water supply, and infrastructure restoration.

The Recovery Agency reported that the main reconstruction work in five settlements within the experimental project is expected to be completed by the end of the year. These settlements include Borodyanka (Kyiv region), Trostianets (Sumy region), Tsyrkuny (Kharkiv region), Posad-Pokrovske (Kherson region), and Yahidne (Chernihiv region). The government has allocated ₴5.2 billion for this project.
