Experts predict that prices in the used car market in Ukraine may rise by 5%. This is related to recent changes that have occurred in the United States, where new tariffs on car imports have been introduced. Although these changes primarily affect domestic consumers in the U.S., Ukrainian car enthusiasts may also feel their impact.
This is reported by Finway
Vadim Ignatov, owner and CEO of Luaz Motors, noted that:
“The tariffs have been introduced, and prices for cars in the U.S. domestic market will rise by somewhere between $4,000 to $12,000 for each model. This is a significant price increase that pertains to new cars. However, it will certainly have repercussions for the secondary market as well. There is already an uptick in trade on the market, especially for cars in the higher price range.”
According to Ignatov, the changes in the United States could significantly impact the global automotive market, despite the specifics of the markets in other countries, such as Ukraine and China.
