During the past week, 1,226 citizens approached the recruitment centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, marking the highest weekly figure in March 2025. The total number of consultations provided during this period amounted to 46,883, as reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Of this number, 9,550 candidates have already begun the process of enlisting in military service. In particular, last week, 171 citizens made the decision to join the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
Women’s Activity in Recruitment
It is noted that the share of women who approached the recruitment centers accounts for 21% of the total number of consultations provided. The most active are residents of four regions:
- Chernivtsi — 42%;
- Khmelnytskyi — 39%;
- Vinnytsia — 39%;
- Ternopil — 34%.
There are 49 recruitment centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine operating in the country, including one online center. Most of them are located in the premises of Administrative Service Centers (ASC).
“Everyone interested can receive a confidential consultation. Mobilization activities and the issuance of summonses by notification groups are prohibited on the premises of the centers,” the Ministry of Defense reminded.
It is also worth noting that young Ukrainians aged 18 to 24 who have decided to voluntarily join military service under contract have already received the first promised payments. The main part of the compensation includes an annual contract worth 1 million hryvnias: 200,000 UAH immediately upon signing and 800,000 UAH paid throughout the contract duration. Additionally, there is a possibility of receiving up to 120,000 UAH per month, as well as bonuses for combat missions. Thus, the total amount of monetary support per year can reach up to 2 million hryvnias.
