Fuel Prices in Ukraine Rise: Current Costs of Gasoline, Diesel, and Gas

The prices of major types of fuel at Ukrainian gas stations continue to rise. As of March 16, the average retail prices for gasoline, diesel fuel, and liquefied gas have increased again, causing concern among both drivers and fuel market experts.

Fuel Price Dynamics

According to industry analysts, diesel has seen the most significant price increase in recent days. Its average cost at gas stations has risen faster than the prices of gasoline and autogas. These changes are attributed to both external factors – the rising cost of petroleum products on global markets – and internal factors – a reduction in supplies and increased demand in certain regions of the country.

Current Prices at Gas Stations

The average retail prices as of March 16 are as follows:

  • Gasoline A-95 – the average price has reached a new high, maintaining a trend of further increases.
  • Diesel fuel – the price increase has been the most noticeable among all types of fuel.
  • Liquefied gas – there is also an increase in price, but the rate of growth remains moderate.

Experts note that changes in fuel prices may affect transportation costs and the cost of logistics services across many sectors of the economy.

“Diesel fuel has seen the largest price increase, reports the portal ‘Minfin’ citing data from the consulting company ‘A-95’. It is noted that price changes are driven by both external and internal factors.”

Specialists advise drivers and businesses to carefully plan their fuel expenses, taking into account current market trends.
