On the night of December 2, Russian forces launched an attack on an energy facility located in the Odesa region. As a result of the shelling, a significant part of the region was left without electricity supply.

After the energy facility was damaged, over 36,300 households were left without power. At the same time, energy workers managed to quickly connect 8,000 families to backup lines, which allowed for a partial restoration of electricity supply for the local population.
“8,000 families were able to be reconnected through backup schemes. Another 36,300 are temporarily without electricity,” the report states.

Repair crews are already on-site, working hard to eliminate the consequences of the attack and fully restore electricity supply in the affected areas of Odesa.
