In April 2025, Ukrainians purchased 3,900 used passenger cars from the USA, which is 6% more compared to the same period last year. The average age of these cars was 5.7 years. The most popular model was the TESLA Model Y, with sales reaching 534 units.

Prices for such cars in Ukraine range from $8,000 to $62,500. According to data from Ukravtoprom, the majority of used “Americans” that replenished the Ukrainian vehicle fleet in April were electric cars, which accounted for 42.2%. Gasoline cars held slightly less of the market at 42.1%. Hybrids made up 7.9%, while diesel and gas vehicles accounted for 4% and 3.8%, respectively.

The price of the most popular used electric car in Ukraine – the TESLA Model Y – depends on many factors, such as condition and mileage. For example, a 2021 model with 40,000 km after an accident is sold for $8,000, while a repaired 2020 model with 143,000 km costs $20,900. Newer models, such as a 2022 car with 28,000 km, can reach prices of $62,500.
