The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, signed a law that allows the confirmation of insurance experience without the need to present a work book. The document, which received the number 13705-d, provides new opportunities for Ukrainians who have lost their employment records, particularly due to military actions or other extraordinary circumstances.

New rules for confirming insurance experience

The law stipulates that citizens whose work books have been destroyed or lost will be able to confirm their insurance experience with other documents. Such documents may include certificates from enterprises, archives, as well as other official papers containing information about work periods and contributions paid.

Significance of the changes for Ukrainians

This legislative initiative is particularly relevant for those citizens who, due to the war or other circumstances, have lost access to their employment documents. From now on, they will not be left without the ability to confirm their work experience and rely on corresponding social guarantees. The law aims to create a fairer and more accessible social protection system for all Ukrainians.
