For those who prefer single rooms, the cheapest options are offered by universities in Zielona Góra and Opole. The cost of a single room here is up to 646 and 710 zlotys, respectively. At the University of Zielona Góra, an additional charge for utilities is applied.

Cities with the Most Expensive Dormitories

The highest prices for accommodation in student dormitories are observed in Wrocław. In popular dormitories like Kredka and Ołówek, the cost of a single room can reach 1470 zlotys per month.

In addition to Wrocław, students will have to pay over 1000 zlotys per month for a spot in dormitories in other Polish cities such as Katowice, Kraków, Warsaw, Poznań, and Olsztyn.

“The cost varies significantly and depends on whether the student chooses a single room or is willing to live with roommates.”

Thus, the choice of city and room type significantly impacts students’ expenses while studying in Poland.
