The Polish Prosecutor’s Office has opened an investigation into a terrorist act of sabotage following damage to railway infrastructure on a vital transport artery of the country.

Restoration of Traffic After Sabotage
On the night of November 18, dual-track train operations were fully restored on the Sobolev – Zhychin section in the Masovian Voivodeship. The railway track in this section was repaired after the incident, which was deemed a result of sabotage.
"After repairing the track damaged as a result of the sabotage, dual-track operations on the Sobolev – Zhychin section were restored at 00:21," noted the head of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Dariusz Klimczak.
Damage to Infrastructure and Investigative Actions
The Prosecutor’s Office has initiated investigative actions regarding the damage to the railway infrastructure of line No. 7, which connects Warsaw East with Dorohusk. Preliminary reports indicate that explosive devices were used to detonate the tracks near the village of Mika (Garwolin district) and the village of Golub (Pulawy district).
The investigation is ongoing, with investigators establishing all circumstances of the incident and identifying individuals involved in organizing sabotage on Poland’s strategically important railway route.
