Vitaliy Zaychenko Dismissed from the Position of Chairman of the Board of Ukrenergo

The Supervisory Board of Ukrenergo has decided to dismiss Vitaliy Zaychenko from his position as Chairman of the Board. Alexey Brekht, who previously held this position in an acting capacity after the dismissal of the former head Volodymyr Kudrytsky, has been appointed as the interim leader of the company.

Changes in the Leadership of Ukrenergo

According to information, all members of the board of the energy system dispatcher company of Ukraine have currently been granted the status of acting officials. No official explanations for the reasons behind this decision have been released so far. However, according to reports from industry publications, tense relations between Zaychenko and the independent members of the Supervisory Board arose almost immediately after his appointment as head.

“Details regarding the motives for this decision are not yet available,” the publication notes.

Vitaliy Zaychenko’s Career at Ukrenergo

Vitaliy Zaychenko was elected Chairman of the Board of Ukrenergo on June 23, 2025, and officially began his duties on July 1 of the same year. Prior to this, Zaychenko held the position of Chief Dispatcher of the company. The dismissal of Zaychenko has been confirmed by MP Oleksiy Kucherenko from the Batkivshchyna faction.

Currently, Alexey Brekht, who already has experience serving as the acting chairman of the company, is temporarily leading Ukrenergo.
