Although the court’s official statement does not mention the name of the individual involved, the circumstances indicate that it concerns Oleksiy Chernyshov.

Court Restrictions and Pre-Trial Investigation Deadlines
The investigating judge granted the request of the prosecutor from the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office to extend the obligations. The term for their fulfillment is set until June 8 or until the completion of the pre-trial investigation. Among the requirements that remain in effect for the suspect are: a prohibition on contacting other participants in the criminal proceedings, as specified in the court ruling, a ban on leaving Ukraine without the approval of the relevant authorities, and an obligation to inform the investigator, prosecutor, and court of any change of residence or employment.
Case Circumstances and Court Decisions
In June 2025, the court chose a preventive measure for Chernyshov in the form of detention with the possibility of bail. According to journalists, over 120 million hryvnias in bail was paid in installments: the funds were provided by Chernyshov’s wife, a private company established in April of the same year that deals with the sale of automotive parts, and a manager from the DIM group of companies, co-owned by developer Oleksandr Nasikovskyi and, according to media reports, businessman and investor Maksym Krippa.
The second suspicion, raised on November 10, concerned possible illegal enrichment in the case of “systematic receipt of unlawful benefits from Energoatom’s counterparties ranging from 10% to 15% of the contract value.”
On November 18, 2025, VAKS detained the former minister for 60 days with the possibility of bail set at 51 million 600 thousand hryvnias. During the court hearing, Chernyshov called the suspicion against him unfounded and denied his involvement in this criminal proceeding.

As reported, on November 19, two individuals — Andriy Yaroslavovych Protsyk and Iryna Mykolaivna Fedorovych — posted bail for Chernyshov in the amounts of 30 million and 21 million 600 thousand hryvnias, respectively.
