New Cars for Children’s Transportation

The updated open-plan cars of the new generation are designed for 58 passengers. The manufacturers took into account numerous requests from travelers, providing modern sleeping berths, comfortable seating on the upper level, and contemporary lighting. For the convenience of passengers, each car is equipped with a changing table, and there is also a playpen for infants.

Starting tomorrow, these cars will begin their social mission—transporting organized groups of children from Kharkiv for recreation and health improvement in the Carpathians.

Large Program for Rolling Stock Renewal

The new cars are part of a large-scale state order aimed at renewing the rolling stock of Ukrzaliznytsia. To date, the company has already received 48 of the planned 66 cars, and the renewal process continues.

“The company expressed gratitude to the government for its ongoing support and emphasized the quality of the products created by Ukrainian manufacturers.”
