Program usage statistics in 2026

During the first five months of 2026, passengers participating in the program made 338 thousand trips. The average distance of one journey was 433 kilometers. In May, participants had access to over 50 pairs of long-distance trains and 15 pairs of regional trains, significantly expanding the geography of travel.

Most popular routes among passengers

In May, Ukrainians actively used the accumulated kilometers for both long-distance and regional travel. Among long-distance routes, the most popular were:

  • Kyiv – Vinnytsia – Kyiv (almost 17 thousand tickets);
  • Kyiv – Kharkiv – Kyiv (over 10.6 thousand tickets);
  • Kyiv – Sumy – Kyiv and Lviv – Kyiv – Lviv (10.5 thousand tickets each route);
  • Kyiv – Mykolaiv – Kyiv (10 thousand tickets);
  • Konotop – Kyiv – Konotop (9.4 thousand tickets).

In the regional segment, the highest demand was for the Lviv – Rivne – Lviv (8.4 thousand tickets) and Khmelnytskyi – Kyiv – Khmelnytskyi (8.3 thousand tickets) routes.

“The loyalty program ‘3000 km across Ukraine’ continues to demonstrate a high level of passenger engagement. According to Ukrzaliznytsia, from January to May 2026, the program was activated by over 852 thousand Ukrainians, having verified through ‘Diia.Pidpys’ in the company’s official app.”

Temporary changes for summer 2026

Due to the increase in demand for passenger transportation during the summer period (June-July), Ukrzaliznytsia has temporarily reduced the number of long-distance trains participating in the loyalty program. At the same time, offers for regional routes remain fully available.

In the first months of summer, accumulated kilometers for long-distance travel can be used on trains heading to and from Kharkiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Chernihiv, Lozova, and Zhmerinka. Dozens of popular routes remain open for regional services, including Lviv – Rivne, Zaporizhzhia – Dnipro, Kyiv – Khmelnytskyi, and others.

Ukrzaliznytsia continues to adapt its program to ensure maximum convenience for passengers and encourage the use of rail transport across the country.
