Recommendations for rational use of electricity
Energy specialists emphasize the importance of economical electricity use, especially during evening hours. Ukrainians are asked to minimize electricity consumption from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and energy-intensive processes, such as washing or dishwashing machines, are recommended to be moved to daytime hours — from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This will help reduce the load on the energy system during critical hours.
“Tomorrow, on Tuesday, no restriction measures are planned.”
Consequences of attacks by the Russian Federation and the state of the energy system
Despite the absence of planned outages, the country’s energy system remains under pressure due to attacks from the Russian Federation. As of the morning of June 1, consumers in seven regions remain without power due to damage caused by Russian strikes. “Ukrenergo” continues to work on restoring electricity supply, strengthening the protection of energy infrastructure facilities.
