Recommendations for electricity consumption
Despite the absence of planned restrictions, the company recommends that Ukrainians optimize their electricity usage. In particular, energy-intensive processes are advised to be shifted to daytime hours, specifically from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Consumers are also advised to limit the use of high-power electrical appliances in the evening hours – from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
“Tomorrow, on Saturday, no restriction measures are planned,” the message states.
Situation in the regions after attacks by the Russian Federation
At the same time, as of the morning of May 1, consumers in Mykolaiv, Donetsk, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions remain without electricity. The cause of the outages was recent attacks by the Russian Federation, which damaged the energy infrastructure in these regions. Restoration work is ongoing, and energy workers are striving to restore electricity supply to all consumers as quickly as possible.
