The trading and manufacturing group “Textile-Contact” has implemented a unique project for the domestic industry involving reverse relocation: part of the equipment previously used at the bankrupt Polish factory MPM Zakład Specjalistyczny has been put into operation at the company’s Chernihiv plant. The launch of this equipment has opened new opportunities for Ukrainian textile production.

Investments and Implementation of Modern Technologies
In the first stage, about 25% of the equipment delivered from Poland has started operating at the “TK DT-Chernihiv” facility. The remaining equipment is planned to be put into operation in 2026. Special attention is drawn to modern machines for digital printing on bed linen with a width of 260 cm — such products were not previously manufactured in Ukraine.
The total amount of investments made by the company for the launch of the new equipment over the year was approximately ₴7 million. An additional €1.4 million was spent on the purchase of equipment from the Polish factory.
Restoration of Production and Government Support
Despite the challenging circumstances, including damage to warehouse facilities and roofs of production workshops due to attacks by the Russian Federation at the beginning of the full-scale war, the enterprise has not only restored its operations but continues to develop. In January 2025, the plant began producing synthetic padding, and by April 2025, a fabric laminating line was launched.
“For the Ukrainian industry, this is a unique ‘reverse relocation’ project.”
To implement investment projects, the plant actively utilizes government support programs, which allows for the expansion of production capacities and the introduction of innovative solutions in the textile sector.
