Transfer of a Land Plot from a Ukrainian Bank to a Private Company for Sublease

The largest plot of the “Land Bank” covering 3,969 hectares, located in the Ustynivka community of the Kirovohrad region, has been transferred for sublease for 14 years at an annual fee of ₴78.6 million including VAT. The auction winner has already signed an agreement with the “State Land Bank” and paid the full amount.

“The sublease of state lands contributes to economic development, job creation, and tax revenue for budgets, and at the auction, the value of the plot increased nearly fivefold, reaching ₴19,803 per hectare including VAT,” said Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko.

The head of the “State Land Bank” Yaroslav Yaroslavskyi also emphasized that this plot had been neglected for a long time, and its transfer for sublease will allow for the effective use of fertile lands.

As a result of the first half of the year’s auctions, nearly ₴600 million has been received into the state budget from the “Land Bank”. For example, last week, 18 online auctions for the sublease of state lands took place, bringing in ₴5.2 million (+₴1 million VAT). The total area of the lands offered at the auctions was 381.8 hectares.
