The Government Supported the Construction of a Waste Processing Plant in Cherkasy under the Investment Nanny Law

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has signed a special investment agreement with the company “Fidnova Center,” which is implementing a large-scale project to build a livestock waste processing complex in the Cherkasy region. The total investment in this facility amounts to 649.7 million UAH, and the new enterprise plans to create over 80 jobs.

State Support for the Investment Project

According to the agreement, the state will provide support amounting to 172 million UAH, which includes:

  1. Exemption from customs duties and VAT during the import of new equipment.
  2. Compensation for expenses related to the construction of engineering and transport infrastructure, including roads, communication networks, and electricity, gas, water, and heating supply.
  3. Exemption from corporate income tax.

“The agreement was concluded as part of the initiative to support projects with significant investments, which are eligible for a range of benefits under the so-called ‘Investment Nanny Law.'”

Other Projects Under the Investment Nanny Law

Currently, four special investment agreements have already been signed in Ukraine in accordance with the law supporting significant investments. Among them are projects for the construction of a soybean meal processing plant, the largest water park in Eastern Europe at the Bukovel ski resort, and two projects related to the development of the GORO Mountain Resort.
