The State AI Assistant Diya.AI for Accessing Services Launched on the Diya Portal

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine has announced the launch of the national state AI assistant Diya.AI, which allows citizens to access government services via chat on the Diya portal. The new service is currently operating in beta mode and is already available to users.

Capabilities and Development of the Diya.AI Assistant

To use the assistant, simply log in to the Diya portal and send a relevant request in the chat. The system will then provide a step-by-step guide to obtaining the desired service. At this stage, Diya.AI can generate an income certificate, but the functionality is planned to be expanded in the future to cover more government services.

Unique Integration and International Experience

According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the AI model continuously learns based on user feedback, which allows it to improve the accuracy and quality of responses over time. It is known that similar state AI assistants are already being used in Estonia, Singapore, and the United Kingdom, but Ukraine is the first to implement a full integration of such functions directly in a government chat.

“The model continuously learns based on user feedback so that each subsequent response is even more accurate.”

The creation and implementation of the service became possible thanks to the support of the UK DIGIT project, which is being implemented by the Eurasia Foundation with funding from UK Dev, as well as within the framework of the Swiss-Ukrainian EGAP program.

Recall that in August 2025, the Ministry of Digital Transformation also announced the launch of the AI Factory project — another initiative in the field of artificial intelligence development in Ukraine.
