Starting from June 2, 2026, the State Agrarian Register (SAR) has begun accepting applications for a new government program aimed at providing financial support to the agrarian business. Ukrainian farmers have the opportunity to receive funds for the development and expansion of their farms under favorable conditions, which will contribute to strengthening the country’s agricultural sector.

Financing Conditions for Agrarians
According to the program’s conditions, farming enterprises can take advantage of the opportunity to obtain an interest-free loan at 0% per annum for amounts up to 1 million hryvnias. The loan term is up to 5 years, allowing for long-term investment planning in business development. However, the main condition for receiving these funds is the provision of adequate collateral to ensure compliance with obligations to the state, guaranteeing the return of budget resources.
Targeted Use of Loan Funds
The funds received under the program can be directed towards a wide range of needs for farming enterprises. In particular, financing is available for:
- the purchase of modern agricultural machinery and equipment;
- the acquisition of livestock;
- the construction and reconstruction of production facilities;
- the establishment of perennial plantations;
- the development of farmers’ cooperatives, and the implementation of irrigation and land reclamation systems.
The program allows for covering key areas of agribusiness development, which will enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of Ukrainian farming enterprises.
Farming enterprises, as well as family farms registered in the SAR, can participate in this program, even if they do not have legal entity status. To qualify for funding, the business must meet established reliability criteria: no debts to tax authorities, not being in bankruptcy proceedings, and not conducting activities in temporarily occupied territories.
“Additionally, we note that the application process in the SAR system will last exactly one month – until July 2, 2026. After the deadline, the commission of the State Fund will analyze the documents and determine the winners, who will receive notifications about the results directly in their SAR cabinet.”
Besides this program, Ukrainian agrarians from eight regions have the opportunity to submit applications for grants from the European Union and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) until June 14, which opens additional avenues for financial support for the development of farming businesses.
