Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported that the new bill aims to enhance the efficiency of military property management. This will allow military unit commanders to dedicate more time to training and executing combat missions during wartime.
Advantages of the New Bill
With the adoption of this bill, commanders will have the ability to make decisions regarding the disposal of property independently, without the mandatory conduct of a service investigation.
“Now a unit commander can dispose of property themselves, even without conducting a service investigation. This is also very important. We have given the commander the right to choose whether a service investigation is necessary or not,” noted Member of Parliament Roman Kostenko.
Changes in Investigations
From now on, service investigations regarding the disposal or loss of property will only be conducted when necessary, significantly simplifying the process and allowing a focus on more important tasks.
It is worth noting that 321 members of parliament voted in favor of the bill, indicating support among parliamentary representatives.
