The High Anti-Corruption Court has decided to extend the duration of procedural obligations for former Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov for another two months. This decision pertains to the pre-trial investigation period of the case, the details of which remain confidential.

Restrictions for the Suspect

According to the court’s decision, the suspect Oleksiy Chernyshov is required to fulfill a number of specified obligations:

  • to appear at the request of the detective, prosecutor, or court;
  • to inform law enforcement about any changes in residence or employment;
  • not to leave the territory of Ukraine without the permission of the investigator, prosecutor, or court;
  • to refrain from communicating with individuals specified in the court ruling.

Details of the High Anti-Corruption Court’s Decision

The court’s ruling states that the decision takes effect from the moment it is announced and is not subject to separate appeal. The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court has not officially named the individual involved; however, according to sources, it specifically concerns Oleksiy Chernyshov.

“On December 17, the investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court extended the procedural obligations of the former Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for two months, but within the timeframe of the pre-trial investigation.”

Thus, the restrictions for the suspect remain in effect until the completion of the pre-trial investigation period set by the court.
