On Tuesday, December 23, hourly power outage schedules will be implemented in most regions of Ukraine. This decision was made due to the consequences of massive missile and drone attacks by Russia on the country’s energy infrastructure.

Planned power outages will last from 00:00 to 23:59. All consumers, including the private and industrial sectors, will be subject to power limitation schedules throughout the day. However, NEC “Ukrenergo” has not provided specific information regarding the extent of limitations for consumers in different regions.

The company emphasizes that the schedules may change depending on the situation in the energy system. For current information on the timing and extent of outages at specific addresses, residents are advised to refer to the official resources of the regional energy companies in their area.
“Find out the timing and extent of outages at your address on the official pages of the regional energy company in your area,” the company advised.
The implementation of restrictions is a necessary step to stabilize Ukraine’s energy system after further attacks on critical infrastructure facilities.
