The Cost of Agricultural Land per Hectare in Ukraine Has Decreased

In Ukraine, there has been a significant decrease in the prices of agricultural land per hectare. In May 2025, the average cost of one hectare was 59,051 UAH, which is 13,000 UAH less than in April. According to the analytical platform OpenDataBot, the lowest price for land in 2025 was recorded in March at 54,610 UAH per hectare, while the highest was in April, reaching 71,907 UAH per hectare.

Price Fluctuations by Region

The prices for land per hectare in Ukraine vary by region, ranging from 31,574 to 184,650 UAH. Thus, the cost of one hectare in the most expensive region is nearly six times that of the cheapest. The highest prices were recorded in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, where one hectare costs an average of 184,650 UAH, as well as in the Lviv region at 136,269 UAH. The lowest land prices are observed in the Donetsk region, where one hectare costs an average of 31,574 UAH. Among other regions with lower land prices, the Kherson region stands out at 33,759 UAH and the Mykolaiv region at 34,015 UAH.

Dynamics of Land Sales

Overall, the area of sold land in Ukraine has decreased. In May 2025, 11,923 hectares were sold, which is 14,000 hectares less than in the previous month. The least amount of land sold in 2025 was in January, with 10,346 hectares, while the highest sales volume was observed in February, when 27,555 hectares were sold.
