In 2025, the Ukrainian agricultural sector received extensive state support aimed at restoring production, enhancing the competitiveness of farms, and developing strategic directions. A significant portion of the aid was directed towards livestock, land reclamation, aquaculture, and the cultivation of niche crops, allowing for the inclusion of tens of thousands of agricultural producers across various regions of the country.

Key Support Programs for Farmers
Thanks to government programs, four agricultural enterprises in Volyn, Rivne, Cherkasy, and Khmelnytskyi regions received partial compensation for the construction and reconstruction of farms to accommodate 3,000 head of cattle. The total amount of reimbursement was 116.3 million hryvnias.
Within the irrigation system development program, 10 enterprises from seven regions received 34 million hryvnias in compensation for the reconstruction and construction of reclamation systems. This enabled the irrigation of over 2,500 hectares of agricultural land.
Support for Farmers and Development of Horticulture
Throughout the year, more than 14,000 producers benefited from subsidies, with a total amount reaching 1.1 billion hryvnias. To support the maintenance of cows, 421.3 million hryvnias were allocated to over 12,000 farms. Additionally, 2,704 farmers received 326.3 million hryvnias in subsidies for the maintenance of goats and sheep.

Moreover, in 2025, 162.4 million hryvnias in grants were allocated for the development of horticulture, and an additional 110.8 million hryvnias for the construction and modernization of greenhouses. Thanks to this financial support, agricultural producers were able to expand production and increase the efficiency of their operations.
