After tax and social contributions, the actual amount “in hand” is significantly lower. The average salary in Poland currently stands at approximately 8,000 PLN (€1,871) gross.

The average salary in the Czech Republic as of March 2025 was around 40,000 CZK (€1,600) before tax deductions. In the capital, salaries are higher and can reach up to 50,000 CZK (€2,000). The highest salaries are earned by specialists in the fields of medicine, finance, and engineering.
