Consequences of the attacks and actions by the authorities

The head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Denys Filashkin, reported that the attacks by the Russian Federation were aimed at the critical energy infrastructure of the region. According to him, today’s shelling was intended to cause maximum damage to the energy system of Donetsk.

"In particular, the entire Druzhkivka and Kostiantynivka, as well as some areas of Kramatorsk, are left without power," he wrote.

Restoration of electricity supply

The regional authorities and emergency services are working on-site, making every effort to restore electricity supply as quickly as possible. As Denys Filashkin emphasized, electricity will be restored immediately as soon as the security situation allows. The priority remains to provide prompt assistance to residents of the affected areas and to restore the operation of critical infrastructure facilities.
