from the National Bank for the first quarter of 2025.
According to the survey results, respondents express expectations for an increase in labor costs per employee. The balance of responses stands at 60.1%, indicating a rise in expectations compared to previous quarters: 56.5% in the IV quarter of 2024, 52.9% in the III, 54.8% in the II, and 62.6% in the I quarter.
Sectors with the Highest Expectations
The highest salary increase forecasts are noted in the manufacturing industry, while the lowest expectations are recorded in the energy and water supply sectors.
Survey Details
The survey was conducted from February 3 to March 3, 2025, involving 660 enterprises from 21 regions of Ukraine, excluding temporarily occupied territories. It is important to note that this data reflects the opinions of business leaders and does not represent the official position of the National Bank of Ukraine.
