Fields of Study and In-Demand Professions
The program covers areas where there is currently a severe shortage of personnel in the Ukrainian labor market. Participants will be able to receive training in the following specialties:
- female truck driver (categories C and CE);
- female operator of construction and loading machinery (excavator, front-end loader, and forklift);
- female automotive mechanic;
- female welder;
- female master of construction and decorative works.
These professions belong to the category of the most in-demand, as the demand for specialists in practical and infrastructure sectors consistently exceeds the available number of professionals.
Features of the Training Process
The OnTrack program is based on an intensive approach to training specialists, combining theoretical knowledge and practical skills on real equipment. Participants will receive:
- a combination of theoretical and practical training;
- constant support throughout the entire course;
- access to job vacancies from potential employers;
- assistance in employment after completing the training;
- arrangements for accommodation and meals during the training period.
“The Ministry of Economy emphasizes that expanding women’s access to technical professions is a response to the structural shortage of personnel.”
According to ministry representatives, involving women in technical professions will help overcome the structural shortage of personnel in several sectors. At the same time, companies that are resuming operations and expanding are increasingly facing the challenge of retaining qualified employees, which enhances the relevance of such retraining projects.
