Payments for the ‘eYasla’ Program Have Started in Ukraine

In Ukraine, the payment of assistance to families with children under the state program ‘eYasla’ has begun. From now on, special accounts for receiving these funds can be opened at ‘Oschadbank’.

Who Can Access the Assistance and How to Obtain It

The first payments under the program are already being received by 1,370 families. This was reported by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, emphasizing the importance of supporting parents who return to work after their child turns one year old.

“The government is working on expanding the application submission options, including through ‘Diia’. Receiving childcare assistance should be as simple, clear, and convenient as possible for families,” Svyrydenko noted.

The monthly payment under the program amounts to 8,000 hryvnias, provided that the mother, father, or guardian is employed after the child turns one year old. These funds can be spent on nanny services, an assistant, or daycare fees.

New Rules for State Support for Families with Children

In addition to the ‘eYasla’ program, other types of assistance continue to operate in Ukraine: payments related to pregnancy and childbirth, as well as a one-time payment upon the birth of a child, which amounts to 50,000 hryvnias.

Starting from January 2026, a new payment procedure will come into effect. It applies to mothers who give birth to children after this date: they will receive a one-time payment of 50,000 hryvnias. For those whose children have not yet reached one year of age by January 1, 2026, a monthly childcare allowance of 7,000 hryvnias will be provided until the child turns one. After that, the family has the right to participate in the ‘eYasla’ program and receive the corresponding payment.

Since the beginning of 2026, such childcare assistance has already been assigned to over 46,000 Ukrainian families.
