Olena Mandziuk Calls for Naming Bloggers Suspected of Profiting from Fundraising

Social media is actively discussing the situation with bloggers who are accused of demanding money for spreading information about charitable fundraising and petitions. This has sparked a wave of emotions among users who accuse influencers of dishonesty and profiting from the topic of war. Against the backdrop of this discussion, blogger Olena Mandziuk has made a call for transparency and accountability regarding such accusations.

Mandziuk Demands Specifics in Accusations

Olena Mandziuk noted that failing to specify names only harms the reputation of all bloggers involved in charity work and complicates their activities. She emphasized that such a situation undermines the audience’s trust in those who support the military daily by organizing fundraisers for their needs.

“Please, if you have such a (blogger – Focus) – write the name, because all of this undermines trust in everyone, and I can barely close each of my fundraisers for the military, and with each passing day, it becomes harder to do. Don’t be afraid to speak the truth if it exists. Such posts without evidence look like bait for comments or a collection of likes, destroying the reputation of bloggers and, of course, complicating all the fundraisers we are trying to conduct”

Later, she suggested that such accusations might be unfounded or relate to little-known individuals, or perhaps such cases do not exist at all. Mandziuk stressed that such posts demotivate the few influencers who still help the military.

User Reactions and Practical Examples

Under Mandziuk’s post on Threads, users began sharing their own stories. Reels and TikTok screenwriter, as well as writer Sandra, recounted that she had approached well-known bloggers asking them to share a petition to ban the printing of Russian literature. According to her, one of the bloggers, Yevhen Dmytriiev, agreed to help only for payment. At the same time, other influencers, such as Terena, alyona alyona, Misha Pravyl’nyi, and Bohdan Andriukh, did this without compensation, successfully helping to complete the signature collection for the petition.

Mandziuk emphasized that accusations without specifics not only harm reputations but also spread disillusionment and contempt for those trying to do good deeds. She urged complainants to have the courage to publicly name names if there are specific claims, rather than spreading unverified accusations that only complicate the work of volunteers.
