Official Exchange Rate of the Dollar and Euro on October 21: NBU Data

The National Bank of Ukraine has set updated official exchange rates for major foreign currencies against the hryvnia for Tuesday, October 21. According to the regulator’s published data, the exchange rate of the US dollar is set at 41.76 hryvnias per dollar, indicating a slight depreciation of the national currency by 3 kopecks compared to the previous banking day.

Euro Exchange Rate Dynamics

In contrast, the euro exchange rate against the hryvnia shows an appreciation of the Ukrainian currency. As of October 21, the official euro exchange rate is recorded at 48.66 hryvnias per euro. Compared to the previous day, the hryvnia has strengthened by 10 kopecks against the European currency.

The exchange rate of the hryvnia to the euro is set at 48.66 UAH/EUR.

Situation on the Interbank Market

As of 4:00 PM, quotes on the interbank currency market of Ukraine for the dollar fluctuated in the range of 41.74–41.77 hryvnias per dollar. Trading for the euro occurred within the range of 48.65–48.67 hryvnias per euro. This indicates stability in exchange rate dynamics on the interbank market throughout the day.
