The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rate of the hryvnia against foreign currencies for Friday, October 24. According to the updated data from the regulator, the hryvnia continues to show a downward trend against major world currencies.

Official Exchange Rates of the NBU
The official exchange rate of the US dollar on October 24 is fixed at 41.90 hryvnias per dollar. This means that the Ukrainian national currency has lost 14 kopecks compared to the previous figure.
As for the euro, the official exchange rate for Friday is set at 48.55 hryvnias per euro. Thus, the hryvnia has depreciated by 18 kopecks against the European currency.
Dynamics in the Interbank Market
In the interbank currency market of Ukraine, by 16:00, the hryvnia’s quotations against the dollar fluctuated within the range of 41.92–41.95 hryvnias per dollar. The euro rate in the interbank market was determined in the range of 48.58–48.60 hryvnias per euro.
The exchange rate of the hryvnia against the euro is set at 48.55 UAH/euro.
The situation in the currency market indicates a weakening of the hryvnia against both the dollar and the euro, which affects financial planning for businesses and the population.
